I have to read this and think about my children, my upbringing, that of my children’s Asian American (South and East) friends and their parents; and what it has to do with fascism — fascism is very guessy, functionaries succeed by anticipating and implementing the dictator’s unstated desires. E.g. Trump only had to make some vague anti immigrant tweets for the DHS, border patrol and ice agents to immediately increase their mistreatment of people and human rights violations before any executive order was signed. Franco was famous for this as well.
