I think a good term would be “Christian Crusaders”. The MSM and even many non-Christians refuse to associate “Christian” with terms like “terror”, “violence”, “conquest” etc. when it is clearly associated with the acts. It is like leaving the race unstated when the alleged perpetrator of a crime is white.

It reminds me of a conversation I had with a friend during the 1990s about the Balkans. Every time he said “Bosnian Muslims” I said “Serbian Christians”. After a few minutes he asked me, “Why do you keep saying ‘Serbian Christians’? I asked him if he thought Serbs were any less Christian than Bosnians were Muslim. He said, “No, but I don’t see why it is relevant.”

I left it at that.
