Interesting and thought-expanding way you frame the Israel-Palestine question as a race issue. Some years back I had a moment of clarity that allowed me to start thinking about “Israel” in Palestine as the last European colony. During de-colonization, this was the only new-colonization by Europe.

Framing the presence of Israel in Palestine as colonization allows one to decouple the religious rhetoric. Would Palestinians feel subjugated and violently suppressed and thence struggle for freedom and respond to being killed by their colonizers — with any means at their disposal — any less if they happened to be Hindus, Tibetans, Christians, Animists, Atheists or Wiccans?

If the answer is ‘No.’ then it is not a religious issue.

I stop to miau to cats.
