Whoever wrote “Masculinity … is the capacity to defend yourself physically” is full of misplaced puffery based on seeing enemies everywhere, being more weaponized, afraid of “getting hurt” (jeez I wonder how he treats women, don’t you?) and has been watching too much violence on TV. When puffed up blackbelts/navyseals start standing up for and defending those who are oppressed in any way or weaker than themselves, then I’ll start handing out “masculinity” star refrigerator magnets.
