Simply not true. Your facilitators suck. That’s how your facilitators have implemented them. RRs allow for some back and forth, which should really be summarizing arguments on an issue that has been discussed by interested parties before, the vote can be tabled if people feel they need more time, discussion can be ELMOed or allowed to proceed … this is not meant to be a brain storming session, that is to happen elsewhere. (You can’t brain storm with 16 people sucking oxygen, that is just a dumb corporate idea.)

It works best with progressive stack, I’ll be happy to elaborate.

This is not even a limitation of zoom, the way oyr org has it set up the chat and hands etc are visible to all, and our facilitators use breakout rooms creatively.

Your facilitators seem like authoritarian gate keepers, nothing more.
