Thank you for a reasonable article about mineral supplements and vitamins, that ingesting then in pill form may help if you have a deficiency but macro dosing (a la Linus Pauling’s admonition to up your daily dosage of vitamin C until your poop is soft) is potentially harmful and ineffective at best.

Of course the “I want a magic pill" trolls are unhappy. They should just consider this article as evidence that thier cocktail of echinacea, st john’s wort, chrysanthemum juice and cayenne is working.
