It won’t. Even if B-H are elected and one of those 6 kicks the bucket, Biden will nominate some tame moderate, and even so that person will be Garlanded by Mitch and the Republican Senate majority because they won’t be rabidly conservative enough.
Why is the federal court system packed with Federalists, even though we had Obama for 8 years?
Because Obama fell asleep on the job before 2010 and the Republican majorities rendered him lame duck, actually wingless duck, what good is a duck that can waddle if it can’t fly? So vacancies went unfilled for 6 years.
Imagine an alternate universe, with HRC as President. What difference would it have made?
None. Mitch Mc pulled a Garland for almost a year, he would certainly pull one more for a few months, and then who knows …
So having POTUS Obama didn’t help with this single issue “OMG, SCOTUS conservative majority” thing, neither would having POTUS HRC have helped.
If having a 6–3 conservative majority is “going to fcuk us over” (as if many of us aren’t already fcuked), well then we are all fcuked anyway.
The Pelosi/Schumer DNC gang have sat by and watched as an increasingly Democratic leaning demographic majority has been snookered into permanent minority representation across the nation, they’ve failed us for 30 years. Why do we keep listening to this abuser who hurts us and then promises to keep us safe and is unable to do so? Yes the abused spouse syndrome is national (Bush — 9/11 — I’ll keep you safe and Trump — COVID — I’ll keep you safe) but just focus on the Democratic half.
So what should we do?
Screw the POTUS part, or sure, vote Biden-Harris if you can hold your nose and fill the form while vomiting, but let them ride on the coat-tails of a Progressive victory, as an after-thought to consciously voting Progressive down-ballot.
Stop listening to the MSM and your zombie like repetition of their lies about “violent protests” blah blah. Actually attend a protest yourself, there is nothing wrong with being humble enough to just be a body, bear witness and stand up and be counted. The street medics will care for the injuries inflicted by the cops or their right wing brethren. You think the government will? They are the ones who promote police violence and are busy with the care and feeding of the automatic rifle-toting white supremacists and have sicced the dogs on the civil disobedience. Change your language and change your mental associations:

Lives matter more than property
State violence
Police protect property, take lives
Who cares about property damage? Insurance will fcuking take care of it. (But the US is trying to get “property” declared an “inalienable right”, really, ick!)

Every time the race of the alleged perpetrator of some crime is not mentioned, think “White”. For example, “man massacres 50” is really “White man massacres 50”. “Armed Vigilantes stop vehicles in Oregon” is “Armed white vigilantes terrorize citizens in Oregon”.
