Very true point. I wasn’t familiar with the names you listed, but I read them to myself. Some years back I wasn’t familiar with the names of black teenagers killed by cops either, but thanks to Occupy Oakland and their concerted efforts to go to the black and latino communities, I did show up and participate in a community support event for Alan Blueford’s family.

So you are right, I haven’t shown up yet in support of black women, but I will.
